The standard WooCommerce functionality already includes structured data markup to display your product reviews effectively within organic search results. Our plugin extends the standard functionality of WooCommerce and optionally adds extra markup on product pages to help search engines properly crawl your reviews.
How to remove the schema markup
If you would like to remove the schema markup added by our plugin, please disable these checkboxes in the plugin's settings:
- Review Schema Markup in Reviews > Settings > Review Extensions to disable JSON-LD structured data for product reviews on WooCommerce product pages
- Attach Images/Videos in Reviews > Settings > Review Forms to disable the ImageObject schema type
- Structured Data in Reviews > Settings > Google > Product Identifiers to disable the Brand schema type
Please note that our plugin can also markup for the review shortcodes if the schema_markup parameter is set to true. Set the schema_markup parameter to false, if you would like the shortcodes to stop creating the markup.
